Description
Bill shorter, less stout and wider at base than nominate race.
Distribution
Breeding and wintering in Southwest Altai, where occurs on Lineyskiy, Ivanovskiy, Kholzunskiy and Altaiskiy Tarbagatay ridges. Vagrants recorded 31 October 1948, 9 birds, 24-25 February and 20 March 1959 in Karaganda and 12 April 1907 in Almaty.
