Almaty. Crossbills, Laughing Doves.

Weather is overcast, probably will be snow in evening, temperature is slightly below zero. Due to snowfall birds came back to Samal. Bramblings and Chaffinches feed the ash-tree seeds, Crossbills hull the pine cones. On one pine-tree I saw about 10-15 Crossbills which were feeding mostly down head because many snow are above braches. Also I saw Crossbills eating snow and chase one another from the (probably) seed-full cones. Great Tits were feeding on the snow under the pine-trees, perhaps the seeds which fell down when Crossbills feed. Unfortunately there are no sun, birds were so close.

Many birds waited me on the feeder in my working place, mostly Laughing Doves and Sparrows. Snow covered land, and birds come to feeders.
