Sorbulak.

The large excursion to Sorbulak with visiting absolutely all of its important points. We started at the lake of White-headed Ducks. White-headed Ducks were in place; in addition to them we saw (I write trusting not to memory but to protocol photos, so someone untaken birds may be missed) Moorhens, Shovelers, Marsh Harrier, Gadwalls, Mallards, Ferruginous Ducks, Black-necked Grebes, Grey Herons (one Heron showed us the fishing), Wigeon, Little Bitterns, Syke’s Warblers, Lesser Whitethroat.
Then our route passes through the sandy beaches of the southern coast. Here were watched one Wheatear (probably Pied Wheatear), four Black-tailed Godwit, Black-headed Gulls, Ruffs, Wigeon, a lot of Ruddy Shelducks (that Ducks we saw earlier is just a little flock, now they are really thousands), Grey Herons, Whooper Swan with one Mute Swan, Common Pochards, Little Stints, Temminck's Stints, pair of Red-necked Phalaropes, three times White-tailed Sea-Eagles, White Egrets, Spotted Redshanks, Terek Sandpipers, Black Kites, Tree Pipits, Coots, Great Cormorants perched on stumps sticking from water, Citrine Wagtail, Pied Avocet, Gull-billed Tern , Wood Sandpiper, Stonechat.
Then we moved to Little Sorbulak where along the coastal edge from beginning to end we watched (in order of appearance) Ruffs, Greater Short-toed Larks, Grey Herons, Great Cormorants, Caspian Gulls, Yellow Wagtails, White Wagtails, Little Stints, Black-headed Gull, four Pacific Golden Plovers in the large flock of Lapwings, Little Ringed Plover, Black-necked Grebe, Great Crested Grebe, Masked Wagtail, Black Kite, Night Heron, Turkestan Shrike, Kingfisher (which were hanging a few tens seconds like a Hummingbird), Long-legged Buzzard, Red-necked Phalaropes, Dunlin, White- tailed Sea-Eagle, Wood Sandpiper, Common Greenshank, Curlew Sandpiper, Hobby, Gull-billed Terns, Common Snipe, Pallid Harrier; on shelterbelt - some Spotted Flycatchers, Turkestan Shrike, juvenile Hobby. In the tree planting at Lake Zhamankum we watched following birds: one Roller, a flock of medium-sized birds (presumably Black-throated Thrushes), Stonechats, Spotted Flycatchers, Hume’s Warbler, Black Kite, Ortolan Bunting, Turkestan Shrike, Pheasants; on the lake - Great Crested Grebes, Common Snipe. I should tell more about Snipe. In danger Snipe out of the water, found on the bank the trace of hoof, and hide in it, carefully looking out only by upper part of the head, the body and the beak are hid in hollow. When no danger, snipe very slowly out of the trace of hoof. And on back way on the separate little lake we photographed Common Pochards.
