Almaty. Republic Square.

Yesterday night I walked on the Republic Square and saw the Rooks and Crows flushed from the birch-tree and flew out to the darkness. I thought it possible the Owl flushed resting or probably sleeping Crows. Tonight I again saw worrying Crows and then the Long-eared Owl. Owl behaved quite an easy, from time to time flew from place to another one, choosing to perch either the tops of spruce-trees or sticks. All the time Owl stayed the same territory. There were not Crows, so probably Owl hunted to rats.
