Road from Almaty to Aksu

Warm and sunny day. Between Almaty and Kapchagai there were several hundreds Kites. In Shengeldy wind became harder, till the northern foothills of Dzhungar Alatau the air was dusty, and I didn't watch any birds. At evening time the wind abated. From Zhansugurov till Aksu on roadside wires I saw Rollers, Eurasian Bee-eaters, one unidentified female Wheatear, Stonechats and Barn Swallows. Directly near Aksu on hemp field the large flock (about 30-40 birds) of Oriental Turtle Doves picked up seeds.
