Hotel “Kumbel”. Ile Alatau national Park.

At 7.30 am in Small Almaty gorge I saw three Blue Whistling Thrushes. Some later I went to branch of Big Almaty gorge. 10.00 am. In the forest near hotel “Kumbel” despite a late time there were a lot of birds. Hume's Warblers and Great Tit were most of all in number. Dozens of these birds flew by my vision. In addition to these birds I saw Coal Tits and Grey Wagtails too. It was strange to me to see Grey Wagtails in the shadow of birch-tree forest. But the greatest hit of the day is Great Spotted Woodpecker. I assumed that I would see Woodpecker because Tien Shan's birch-tree forest is the habitat where I observed this Woddpecker most often. So this occurring was not surprise but nice. Woodpecker was searching the food on the old dry birch-tree.
