Almaty. Republic Square, Little Almatinka river.

Today I have gone to yesterday places backward. In first Little Almatinka river next New Square. Today there were not so much birds but some birds I saw. On the river there were a little flock of Red-fronted Serins. I haven't seen Blue Whistling Thrush and Great Spotted Woodpecker. But have seen several Azure Tits and Wrens. Azure Tits were fed highly in crones of birches and willows, pecked gemmas and catkins. Wrens searched eats on the ground rooted up in sand and between stones. There were several Laughing Doves on the backyards. There are drains from houses to river. In these drains birds were bathe clean plumelets. Main bathers were Blackbirds, House Sparrows, Mynahs, Chaffinches. Bathing birds take seats on branches and dry wings since the weather was warm +5C.
Have not found White-winged Grosbeacks on New Square. Saw Barred Warblers (all time I considered they are Common Whitethroats, but experts have specified they are juvenille Barred Warblers. Really in today photos characters of Barred Warblers strips on sides are visible). Warblers have absolutely ceased afraid me. Still some months ago photos of Barred Warblers were success for me now they can be fed absolutely easy on two meters from me. I write "warblers" in plural because they are exact two ore more. At least, two I see constantly, can be them and more. Else there were Great Tits, Blackbirds, Chaffinches and Bramblings. All of them are fed among a grass which has appeared under fur-trees last warm days.
